报告摘要: In this talk, we will discuss several problems related to the set of irreducible character degrees of a finite group. We will see how to use orbit structure of group actions to tackle these problems.

报告人简介：

杨勇，重庆文理学院巴渝学者特聘教授。2009获佛罗里达大学（ University of Florida） 博士学位，现任职于德克萨斯州立大学，从事群论和表示论方面的研究工作。在Advances in Mathematics 、Journal of Algebra等国际重要期刊上发表论文60余篇。
